The GameCube is a home video game console released by Nintendo in North America on November 18, 2001. The sixth-generation console is the successor to the Nintendo 64 and is Nintendo’s first console to use discs for its games. Though met with positive reviews, it was dominated by its competitors (PS2 and Xbox) at the time, which makes it and its games a bit more of a collectors item.
